HOPPR Achieves SOC 2 Type II Attestation, Reinforcing Security and Operational Integrity for AI Development in Medical Imaging
Chicago, IL, March 24, 2026 — HOPPR, a company focused on transforming how AI is developed for medical imaging, today announced it has achieved SOC 2 Type II attestation, an independent validation that the company’s security controls are appropriately designed and operating effectively over time.
The attestation provides third-party assurance that the systems and operational processes supporting the HOPPR™ AI Foundry maintain structured safeguards to protect customer environments and sensitive data.
Organizations developing AI applications for medical imaging rely on secure infrastructure to manage highly sensitive healthcare data. As these technologies move from research environments into real-world workflows, maintaining disciplined security practices and operational governance becomes increasingly important.
“Security has to be built into how systems are designed and operated from the beginning,” said Trever Falconi, Director, IT Security and Operations at HOPPR. “Achieving SOC 2 Type II attestation validates that the controls supporting our environment are functioning consistently in real operational conditions.”
SOC 2 is an auditing framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) that evaluates how organizations safeguard systems and data through defined operational controls. While a SOC 2 Type I assessment evaluates whether controls are designed appropriately at a specific point in time, SOC 2 Type II attestation assesses whether those controls operate effectively over a defined observation period.
The independent audit evaluated the design and operating effectiveness of the controls supporting HOPPR’s platform, validating the company’s approach to security governance, risk management, and operational monitoring.
HOPPR builds technology designed to support organizations developing AI applications in medical imaging, including the HOPPR ™ AI Foundry and related services that help teams build, fine-tune, and validate AI models for integration into imaging workflows.
“Organizations building AI for healthcare need infrastructure they can trust,” said Dr. Khan Siddiqui, CEO and Co-Founder of HOPPR. “SOC 2 Type II is an important milestone, but it’s part of an ongoing effort to continuously strengthen our security program as our products, services, and capabilities evolve.”
HOPPR continues to expand its security and compliance programs as it supports organizations building next-generation AI solutions in medical imaging.
