Dr. Roger Boodoo is a double board-certified diagnostic radiologist and clinical informaticist known for his pioneering contributions to healthcare innovation and military medicine. Trained at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and the University of Illinois Chicago, he has held key leadership roles within the Department of Defense, including Chief of Innovation and Lead Imaging Informaticist at the Defense Health Agency, as well as Chief of Radiology at Fort Belvoir. Dr. Boodoo is also a retired Commander in the U.S. Navy.

During his tenure at the Defense Health Agency, Dr. Boodoo spearheaded the Military Health System’s Enterprise Imaging and modern EHR initiative, successfully overseeing the deployment of cutting-edge imaging solutions across 138 military hospitals and clinics, facilitating over 5 million exams annually. His deep expertise in clinical informatics and data interoperability has been instrumental in modernizing healthcare operations across the Department of Defense.

An entrepreneur at heart, Dr. Boodoo founded two innovative startups: a radiation tracking app that enables patients and providers to monitor radiation exposure, and an AI-driven image labeling platform designed to create curated datasets for pathology applications. Additionally, he provided critical medical care as a Battalion Surgeon in the U.S. Marine Corps Infantry during combat operations in Iraq.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Boodoo is a passionate advocate for Bitcoin and an avid hiker, combining his love for cutting-edge technology with his appreciation for the outdoors.
