Desiree Therianos is a seasoned People Leader executive with over 20 years of experience running HR functions for early-stage startups through scale. She brings her background of executive leadership coaching to her role at HOPPR where she leads the People and Talent function as the VP, HR. Desiree has spent her career partnering with Silicon Valley startups from their earliest stages through acquisition, navigating the organizational complexity that comes with rapid growth and bringing both strategic clarity and human-centered leadership to every phase. 

Before joining HOPPR, Desiree held senior People leadership roles at several recognized names in tech, including VP, People & Culture at Fictiv, VP, People at Crunchyroll, and an early leadership role at HOTorNOT.com. Across each of these companies, she built and led HR functions from the ground up, shaped organizational structures during pivotal growth moments, and championed cultures where people could do their best work. 

Desiree is known for pushing conventional boundaries and bringing innovative approaches to talent acquisition, performance, and culture, particularly in high-growth environments where the rules are still being written. She is deeply passionate about preserving employee experience and morale as companies scale and about empowering the people behind the product.
